Victoria
I’m Victoria Anderson, a clinical exercise physiologist and PhD researcher, and I’d love to share the story behind the MightyMitts 12 Week Exercise Program.
I’ve spent years helping adults improve strength, balance, and mobility, and I’ve seen firsthand how starting sooner rather than later can make a world of difference to overall well-being and longevity.
This program focuses on hand-grip strength and functionality, while remaining safe, research backed, and easy to follow from the comfort of your own home, so you can progress at your own pace. We’ve collaborated with a range of health professionals, including physiotherapists, clinical exercise physiologists, personal trainers, and dieticians, to create a well-rounded approach that covers everything you need on your journey to better health.
I’ve personally witnessed how improved grip strength, balance, and mobility can boost confidence, reduce the risk of falls, and help people regain their independence. It’s incredibly rewarding to see individuals living more freely and enjoying everyday activities without worry. I’m proud to stand behind the Mighty Mitts program, and I'm excited to hear about the sustainable progress you will make with MightyMitts.

Ula
I’m Ula, a clinical personal trainer with years of experience helping people reach their health and fitness goals, including those with specific health considerations. I believe the greatest gift you can give anyone is the ability to do things by themselves.
Independence becomes especially important as we age, and that is why I was so excited to work with MightyMitts on this project. Their focus on safe and effective exercises, along with user-friendly equipment, helps people build strength and confidence at their own pace, supporting a more active and independent life.
The benefits of having a home gym in a bag with their Health Kit really make this program feel achievable for anyone.

Josh
I am Josh, an exercise physiologist with extensive experience working with adults who have a range of health conditions, including neurological and cardiac issues.
Helping develop the MightyMitts program has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m even more excited to see the rewards it will bring to future users. This safe, progressive approach helps individuals build strength, improve mobility, and maintain independence, no matter their starting point. The specialised equipment and user friendly exercises make it accessible for people of all abilities, and the focus on grip strength has real life benefits. I’ve seen first hand how consistent, targeted exercise can reduce the risk of falls and boost overall well being.
I’m proud to be part of a program that empowers people to take control of their health, stay active, and continue enjoying the things they love.

Patience
I am a registered physiotherapist and I’m excited to have recently collaborated on the MightyMitts program. This program doesn’t just focus on hand grip strength, but also on functional movements that bring real world benefits.
By combining safe, progressive exercises with specialised equipment like a dynamometer for tracking grip strength, we’re giving users practical tools to monitor their own improvements. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how crucial strength, mobility, and coordination are for staying independent as we age, and I always recommend an evidence based, structured exercise plan to support overall well being.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on an existing routine, MightyMitts offers a personalised approach at every stage. It’s incredibly rewarding to see people gain confidence, lower their risk of falls, and ultimately live happier, healthier lives.

Paul
I’m Paul, an older adult with a strong background in health and fitness. Over the years, I’ve gone through my own health challenges with multiple surgeries and other life changing events that tested my resilience.
Having the first hand understanding of active ageing, the importance of mobility and strength exercises, I have worked with the MightyMitts team, where we combined our knowledge to shape a program that supports older adults and anyone facing health or fitness challenges. I’ve seen first hand how essential it is to focus on safe, progressive exercises that build strength and mobility without risking injury.
The MightyMitts program remains practical, user friendly, and adaptable for people at different stages of their fitness journeys. Working on this project has been deeply rewarding, because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to maintain their independence and continue enjoying life to the fullest.
If my story can inspire others to take that first step toward better health, then my contribution to MightyMitts has truly been worthwhile.
